As 2017 draws to a close… … and we prepare to swap readers and printed circuit boards for mince pies and sherry, it seems like the perfect time to reflect on the last twelve months at Third Millennium. The year has been nothing if not busy, enjoying several significant new contracts from major systems manufacturers strengthening our export market sales with new business in North America, Japan, India and the Middle East. We have made significant investments across the business this year with the installation of a new MRP system and bringing staff into new roles in business development, sales administration and manufacturing. We have also installed one of the latest state-of-the-art 3D printing machines to maintain our competitive advantage in rapid product development. In response to new business, we have also extended our subcontract supplier network, to ensure we can meet the ever-increasing demand for our advanced access control readers … for years to come. New product lines have made a big impact in 2017 with our customers in the financial services and government sectors migrating to our latest high security OSDP reader solutions. Planned global roll outs for 2018 give us a good secure base moving forward, and something that is rare in this industry - forward visibility of customer requirements. We will close off the year on 22nd of December for a well-earned rest and will return refreshed and eager to serve you on the 2nd of January. All in all, it has been a great year for Third Millennium, and we would like to extend our thanks and best wishes for Christmas and the New Year to all our customers. 2018 will bring new product launches, exciting new projects, and new people joining our world-class team.
